About Joe Anglin

I'm running for the Hall County Board of Education At-Large seat. I bring 25 years of dedicated service as a middle and high school teacher in Hall County. My commitment extends beyond the classroom, having coached basketball and tennis, and served as a bus driver—handling route, athletic, and field trip transportation. This "in-the-trenches" experience provides me with a unique perspective on the daily operations and needs of our schools. I'm a strong advocate for furthering teacher and staff support, ensuring classroom/school order, fair compensation and comprehensive benefits. I support adding stipends for bilingual teachers and enhancing support systems for Special Education teachers, as well as bolstering resources for learners of English as a second language. Furthermore, I aim to expand educational opportunities by pushing for more Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) classes to middle schools and bolstering security measures at all campuses. I'm committed to ensuring that the voices of those on the front lines of education are heard and represented at the highest level of school administration. My ultimate goal is to support initiatives that create a top-tier educational environment and experience for all students in Hall County.

I have lived in Hall County since 1998. I'm married with two sons, both graduated from the Hall County School District. I served on the Flowery Branch City Council for 15 years.
